4、 Installation:

The measured liquid is generally a low viscosity (generally less than 0.00015 ㎡/s) and low corrosiveness liquid. Although there are currently turbine flow meters used for measuring various media, careful consideration is still needed for high-temperature, high viscosity, and highly corrosive media, and corresponding measures should be taken: when the viscosity of the medium is greater than 0.00015 ㎡/s, the instrument coefficient of the flow meter must be calibrated with real liquid, otherwise significant errors will occur.

Gas liquid two-phase flow, gas-solid two-phase flow, and liquid-solid two-phase flow cannot be measured using a turbine flowmeter.

liquid

It has high working pressure and is generally suitable for flow detection in various high and low pressure water machine systems. There are flow meters with a working pressure of up to 50MPa, mainly used for measuring the water injection volume in oilfield water injection systems.

liquid

Turbine flow meters can use fully cemented carbide (tungsten carbide) shielded cantilever beam structure bearings, integrating rotating bearings and pressure bearings, greatly improving bearing life, and can work in media with small amounts of sediment and dirt. The liquid turbine flowmeter adopts lCr18N19Ti all stainless steel structure (2Cr13 for the turbine) to improve its anti-corrosion performance. As a signal detector, permanent magnet alloys have strong output signals and good magnetic stability. Wide temperature range, can work normally within the range of (O~120) ℃.
The turbine flowmeter is equipped with movable components such as rotors and bearings that rotate at high speed, as well as friction parts. If a turbine flowmeter is used to measure low-temperature fluids (referring to fluids with boiling points below -50CC at atmospheric pressure, representative low-temperature fluids include LNG liquefied natural gas, liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquefied ethylene, liquid hydrogen, etc.), low-temperature material SUS304L needs to be used. SUS304 material can also be used if it can be austenitized. Bearings are important components of turbine flow meters, and they determine their characteristics and durability.

If the fluid being tested is a non lubricating liquid, great attention should be paid when selecting bearings, such as using AISI440C stainless steel ball bearings.

use

When measuring low-temperature fluids with a turbine flowmeter, a common malfunction is rapid evaporation caused by pressure loss in the instrument. After causing rapid evaporation, the rotor will rotate several times faster than usual, causing the bearings to be worn out in a short period of time. The method to prevent rapid evaporation is based on fluid mechanics theory to guide the appropriate increase in instrument size. The pressure loss is proportional to the square of the flow rate. If the measured flow rate can be limited to 1/2 of the instrument range, the pressure loss can be reduced to 1/4 of the rated range. ......................
