The final of the 3rd National Highway Engineering Test and Inspection Skills Competition was successfully held in Shenyang, Liaoning from June 21st to 22nd. This competition is hosted by the China Transportation Construction Supervision Association. The National Highway Engineering Testing and Inspection Skills Competition is the largest, most influential, and highest level national highway engineering testing and inspection industry skills competition held by the association since its establishment.

The competition is divided into three stages: theoretical assessment in the preliminary stage, operational assessment in the final stage, and knowledge competition. Each stage strictly screens and selects the best candidates to enter the next round. In the end, 49 finalists from across the country stood out and competed against each other in Shenyang.

The final operation assessment of this competition includes two testing parameters: "Asphalt Penetration" (using the SYD-2801E1 Asphalt Penetration Tester provided by Shanghai Changji Geological Instrument Co., Ltd.) and "Rockwell Hardness". The sum of the assessment results of the two parameters is taken as the operation assessment result. The top 10 contestants in the operational assessment will enter the final knowledge competition stage.

Ultimately, there will be 1 individual first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 43 outstanding awards, as well as 1 team first prize, 2 second prizes, and 3 third prizes. Among them, Guangxi Highway Inspection Co., Ltd. won the first prize for the group, and Peng Weijun won the first prize for the individual.
